Let's return to Dallas, Texas, to join Mitch, aka Timbre Shore. The artist, a great friend of Thomas LaVine, never ceases to amaze us with the quality of his releases.
And yet, it was not won! We almost had to convince him that his music was fabulous because he didn't really believe in it at first. And a year later, he was signed by our friends at Apeiron. A collaboration that we hope will be fruitful.
After releasing a fabulous 6-track EP this summer, "Our Destiny" is the first release with Apeiron. The perfect mastery of writing is still there. The soulful vocals too. And these pure folky vibes that make people dream too.
And it may also be the symbol of the artist's awakening: he finally realized that he could achieve great things, and his vision of the song confirms it:
"Our Destiny is about making amends and living the life you're destined to live. “Losing all sense of time” and being who you are."
Yes, "Our Destiny" is like an accomplishment. The artist, who is self-taught, has matured enormously and this is reflected in this new jewel. The vocal harmonies are magical. The playground atmosphere with the sound of children playing reminds us that we are all masters of our own choices, which make our destiny. What if everything became possible?
Usually quite discreet in his songs, the drums have their place here, especially during the last minute of the song, which will allow you to shake your head a little at the sound of this absolutely delicious folk ballad.
